What is Liposuction?
Liposuction can be performed by surgeons specialized in fat removal. If the patient prefers the vacuum treatment method and the specialist doctor approves, the region can be shaped over time by applying the vacuum regional liposuction procedure. A special liquid is injected into the area where the fat will be taken, allowing the fat to expand (the fat cells do not multiply, they only expand and change size), and then small incisions are made in the skin and metal cylindrical pipes are inserted into these enlarged fat cells. Then, when these pipes reach the appropriate and desired area, the fat tissues are sucked out by vacuum method and allow the area to relax and be purified from fat cells. In addition, another method is liposuction using ultrasound lights. Cells that are destroyed by ultrasound lights are vacuumed out of the body without the need for an extra fluid, and the area is regulated.
Liposuction Methods
The liposuction process is applied using more than one different technique.
Classical Liposuction Technique
In the classical liposuction technique, less technology is used compared to other procedures. During this technique and other liposuction techniques, sedation anesthesia is generally preferred. Thanks to this anesthesia technique, the post-application process progresses more easily. In the classical liposuction technique, with the help of thin cannulas, fat tissue is taken from the area of the body where the patient desire.
Vaser Liposuction Technique
While applying Vaser liposuction technique, ultrasonic sound waves are used. With these sound waves, the fat cells in the unwanted area of the person's body are broken down. Thanks to the vibration and thermal effect that occurs during the process, the fats are dissolved. After being dissolved, it is drawn out of the patient's body with high pressure.
Laser Liposuction Technique
Laser beams are used when fat removal is desired with the laser technique. During the procedure, the laser beam is used to break down the fat tissue. A thermal effect also occurs during the breakdown of fat cells. After the fat cells are broken down, they are aspirated and removed from the body.
Which Technique to Choose in Which Situation?
Laser and Vaser methods are different from each other in terms of application. There may be different situations where both are preferred. Compared to the classical liposuction procedure, more fat is removed in these two procedures.
Since the fat is broken down by using heat in the laser fat removal technique, it is necessary to be very careful not to burn the skin. This is not the case in Vaser liposuction.
Although many plastic surgeons find the laser technique more suitable, there are physicians who prefer both techniques.
High Definition, which is required to minimize adipose tissue in Vaser liposuction technique, is one of the biggest reasons why this procedure is preferred. Vaser is preferred more often to make the lines of the folds in the region clear.
Another reason why the Vaser fat removal technique is more preferred is that it allows the fat taken out of the body to be accumulated and then used as a filler in another part of the body.
The person should exchange information with the doctor while deciding which one to choose. They should consult their physician about the advantages and disadvantages of both procedures.
Since the procedure can be performed with both general anesthesia and sedation anesthesia, information can be requested from the physician about which technique to use, the advantages and disadvantages of these techniques.
Whichever one of the fat removal techniques is chosen, the application should be made by the physician and a clinic with sufficient equipment.
Surgical applications are serious procedures. For this reason, the qualifications of the physician or health institution to be selected are very important. You can review the references of the physician and the institution to make the right choice.
Before Liposuction Operation
There are some rules to obey before the operation:
If the patient smokes or drinks alcohol regularly, they should quit at least 10 days before to the application. Smoking in particular slows the healing process significantly.
Before submitting the application, consumption of carbohydrates, fats, salt, and sugar should be minimized.
If a blood thinning drug or nutritional supplement is used, it should be discontinued at least ten days before the surgery. Using blood thinners during and after surgery increases the risk of major bleeding.
It is necessary to share all information about the health status of the patient with the doctor before the operation.
In general, liposuction procedures take 1-3 hours to complete. Despite the fact that it is normal for the surgeon to choose to take varying amounts of fat depending on the examination and the patient's complaints. The average amount of fat that is deemed medically appropriate per day is between 2.5 and 4.5 liters. The surgeon marks the area to be contoured and the fat to be eliminated before application. A snapshot taken prior to the operation can be used to better observe the outcome. Then, depending on desire, either general anesthetic or local anesthetic is administered. The mixed of solution is injected into the area to reduce the pain there before the application is made. This solution includes physiological serum, bicarbonate, and the painkillers lidocaine and epinephrine, which also prevent bleeding by tightening blood vessels. The area becomes numb and toughened as a result of this solution, making the application more comfortable. After that, 1-2 mm skin incisions are made, and from there, cannulas are inserted into the fatty area. The comparatively liquid fat starts to be absorbed by the vacuum machine to which the cannulas are connected. To break up the fat and enable the fastest possible draining, the vacuum tube is pushed across the surface. To stop the fluid from draining and the development of edema, the incisions are kept open for a brief period of time following surgery once the process is finished.
After Liposuction Operation
You will be able to stand up with the support of the nurse 2-3 hours after the procedure.
It is normal to be slightly dizzy at first when standing up. Taking plenty of liquid food (water, fruit juice, tea, coffee etc.) is beneficial as it will increase your blood pressure.
Fluid leaks into the bed on the first day after liposuction are normal and expected.
Swelling and bruises may occur in the procedure area. This situation will pass in 7-10 days.
After the procedure, you must use the corset you are wearing for at least 6 weeks. We recommend that you take a shower with a corset for the first week. You can then take a shower by removing the corset.
A tight corset is very important for shaping your body. That's why it is recommended to stay on you as much as possible.
When you feel comfortable after the procedure, you can start active sports. It is important to start to walk early for reducing edema.
The lymph drainage massage is useful. You can start after 3 days.
It is recommended consuming plenty of water and liquids after the procedure.
It will take 6 months for your body to take its final shape. Your edema will decrease over time, and your body will be more beautiful day by day.

What techniques work for our clients?FUE: Extraction of follicular units. DHI: Direct hair implantation.
-
What's the difference between FUE and DHI Transplants?• The biggest difference between two techniques is; The graft area does not have to be shaved in the DHI technique. In the FUE technique, the donor area and also the graft area must be shaved. • Hair transplantation with the FUE technique is used to remove and graft the follicles, but DHI is a method of grafting the most direct follicles. • While in the DHI technique the follicles are grafted just after removal, in the FUE technique the process of grafting the follicles begins after removing all the follicles. • Hair can be grafted with more intensity in the DHI technique. • While almost nothing bleeds in the DHI technique, in the FUE it bleeds a little more than DHI
-
What is FUE?• Complete review and design of your new image. • Painless local anesthesia. • Extraction and conservation of follicles. • Incisions in the receiving area of the hair. • Implantation of follicular units.
-
What is DHI?• Complete review and design of your new image. • Painless local anesthesia. • Extraction and implantation of follicular units.
-
Will I have a scar after the transplant? No. One of the goals of the hair transplant operation is to achieve permanent and successful results as long as there is no evidence of treatment in the treated areas.
-
How long does each hair transplant last?Hair transplantation takes a long time and will depend on the number of grafts to be performed. For example, if the surgery is about 1500 grafts, it would be approximately 4 hours, but from 2500-3000 grafts, it takes 1 day (about 7-8h). During the surgery the patient does not notice anything since a local anesthesia is applied.
-
How is the post operative? As well as the FUE technique and the DHI, the postoperative period is practically painless. On the seventh day, the patient can resume his normal life, although he may suffer from a small inflammation.
-
How long does it take for the transplanted hair to come out and start growing? The wait usually varies between 3 or 4 months and does not stop growing until 12 months, at which time the result of the treatment is assessed.
-
How long does it take for hair to come out of the donor area? The hair will have started to grow again and it will hardly be noticeable that hair was extracted from that area. Two weeks later.
-
Does the hair look natural after transplanting?Yes, nowadays a transplanted hair cannot be distinguished from a normal one.
-
Can transplanted hair fall out?No, the transplanted hair will stay there forever. At the time of transplantation, those hairs that are genetically encoded are chosen so as not to fall out.
-
Does the hair transplant hurt a lot? What type of anaesthesia is applied?Hair grafting is a practically painless process. Local anesthesia is used in both FUE and DHI. In our experience, the only pain that the patient experiences is the first 10-15 minutes at the time of the needle with which anesthesia is administered directly to the scalp.
-
Which technique is best for me?The technique will depend on each case. The classic FUE method is ideal for covering large areas, while the DHI method offers a better chance of achieving higher density in smaller areas.
-
What can and cannot be done after hair transplantation?• Sport: After 1 month. • Avoid activities that involve sweating. • Do not use caps, hats, clothes etc ... for at least 3-4 weeks. • When sleeping, use the pad provided for the first 3-4 days minimum. • When sleeping, use the pad provided for the first 3-4 days minimum. • Wash the head every day for the first month, following the instructions given. • DO NOT go out in the sun for at least the first 15 days, take care of the sun for the first month.
-
Advantages vs Disadvantages of hair transplantationAdvantages • Hair grows - Many people are not sure, but grafted hair continues to grow normally after the intervention. It means having hair again at all levels. • Simple intervention - Despite being a long and conspicuous procedure, it is very simple and effective. If all goes well, it will only be necessary to intervene once and the hair will be restored. • Own donor - When taking your own hair, rejection is unlikely • Uniformity - A hair transplant guarantees that the distribution of the new hair will be uniform and will give a natural feeling. Optimization is of such a level that the distribution of the follicles is the same as that of the patient • Does not require general anesthesia • No need for stitches • Does not leave scars • Simple post-operative and quick recovery • Hair can be extracted from other parts of the body (chest and beard) • There is no rejection since the Follicular Units belong to the individual himself. • Huge durability of the transplanted hair (the follicular units from the donor area are genetically programmed to grow for life) Disadvantages • Hair thinning - It is common after the intervention, as the new hair is finer than the old. In several months, the new hair will take its usual thickness. • Swelling - Swelling is common after a hair transplant. What's more, it not only affects the head, but also the forehead and eyes. It passes in about 2-3 days. • Itching - After the intervention, itching in the head area is common. It is logical, since a hair transplant causes wounds and these lead to the appearance of scabs. • Numbness - Until the grafted area returns to normal, weeks of numbness may pass. • Cysts - Not all hair follicles have the same reception capacity. Some can cause cysts that usually go away in a few weeks. They are like small grains and do not usually exceed that size. • Infection - Current hair transplants have a tremendous level of safety and prevention. However, it may be the case that there is an infection in the intervention area. To avoid this, numerous antibiotics are applied before and after the intervention. • The donor area must be shaved

What is the difference between Zirconia crowns and Veneers?Although dental crowns are not as conservative as veneers, they bond to tooth better than veneers so unlikely to de-bond. Therefore, crowns are more resilient than veneers as well. Moreover, zirconia crowns give great aesthetic and natural results
-
1.For what purposes are zirconium crowns used?Zirconia crowns are used in the treatment of aesthetic advanced discolorations that cannot be treated with methods such as bleaching; hereditary discoloration, for diastema and rotated or slightly crowded teeth for which orthodontic treatment is not preferred, for the restoration of discolored and eroded teeth with old fillings and teeth with severe loss of substance, as a dental bridge or crowning in the molars, in the incisor implant-supported prostheses, and in smile design.
-
What are the aesthetic advantages of zirconium teeth? Thanks to its transparency, the natural look of the teeth is achieved. The enamels of healthy teeth are translucent. Metals, which are the substructures of conventional porcelain crowns, cause an opaque look. This causes the teeth to look dull and artificial. However, this is prevented with zirconia crowning.
-
Is there any age restriction to apply? The patients can be treated in any age after the permanent teeth eruption. However, in treatments which are made until the ages of 18-20, the crowns need to be regularly renewed due to the fact that gaps between teeth is observed because of jaw growth in this stage of growth. Thus, it is not recommended.
-
How do the zirconia crowns adjust to the gums?Zirconia is a tissue-compatible material. The purplish discoloration of the gums in the neck of the tooth, which is observed after the use of metal-supported prostheses, never occurs. They do not cause gingival recession. If a gingival recession occurs due to incorrect toothbrushing, zirconia crowns will not create an unaesthetic appearance.
-
Are there any disadvantages of zirconia crowns? It is not recommended in the back area where long gaps with no teeth would increase the possibility of cracks.
-
How should I care for my zirconium crowns?Zirconium teeth are brushed in the same way as natural teeth. Floss should be used for their care and superfloss should be used for toothless areas. In order to foresee problems and take necessary precautions, the patient should come to biannual appointments.
-
How long does the treatment with this aesthetic dentistry application take? With patients who have healthy gums, the treatment is completed within a week. Upon the request of the patient, it is possible to have several try-in sessions until both the dentist and the patient are pleased with the result.
-
Can Zirconia Crowns Break?Zirconia crowns may break in the event of heavy impacts. There is a possibility of cracking in movements such as breaking the nut shell or opening the bottle cap. But there is no problem in chewing hard foods.
-
Do Zirconia Crowns Need Special Care? There is no need for extra care for zirconia. Normal oral care is sufficient for the patients.
-
Do you offer cosmetic dentistry and permanent tooth implants?Yes. We offer all types of cosmetic dentistry including permanent tooth implants, Hollywood smile and more. Contact us for more information.
